Colgate Brush Time is designed to help children of all ages develop consistent and proper tooth brushing habits through gamification and rewards. Parents can help their children earn points for good brushing behavior and redeem them for airtime, data, cashback, or shopping vouchers.

We collect limited personal information necessary for the App’s features to work:
From the child user:
- First name (for personalization)
- Age range (to tailor brushing guidance)
From the parent/guardian:
- Phone number (only when redeeming rewards)
From device permissions:
- Camera access – used solely for brushing verification via on-device machine learning. We do not store, transmit, or share any photos.
- Notification access – to send reminders and reward notifications.
We do not collect location data or any other personally identifying information.
3. How We Use Information
- Personalize the brushing experience for the child
- Track brushing progress and award points
- Allow parents to redeem rewards for the child
- Send brushing reminders and reward notifications
- Ensure brushing verification works correctly through the camera feature (on-device only)
4. Data Storage and Retention
- We do not store or transmit photos captured via the camera feature. All brushing verification is processed locally on your device.
- Personal data (first name, age range, parent phone number) is stored securely and only for as long as the account is active or required for reward redemption.
- Once the account is deleted or the app is uninstalled, stored personal data will be deleted within a reasonable period.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share limited data only in these situations:
- With service providers who help us deliver rewards (e.g., airtime or voucher providers) – only the phone number needed for delivery is shared.
- When required by law or to comply with legal processes.
6. Children’s Privacy
- The App can be used by children under parental supervision.
- Personal information required for reward redemption (parent phone number) is collected from the parent or guardian only.
- Parents can request deletion of their child’s data at any time by contacting us (see Section 10).
